Manifestation Made Simple

Manifestation Made Simple

Manifestation. It’s one of those words you’ve probably seen floating around Instagram or TikTok, paired with quotes like “If you can dream it, you can do it” or people raving about their “vision boards.” But what actually is manifestation, and how can you use it to bring in the things you want?

It's time to make manifestation super simple. Forget overcomplicated steps or spiritual jargon – this is about creating a practice that works for you, whether you’re new to journaling or want to manifest your dream life (yes, really).

What Is Manifestation, Really?

At its core, manifestation is about turning your thoughts into reality. It’s not magic (although it does feel like it sometimes!). It’s about getting clear on what you want, aligning your mindset, and taking small steps to make it happen.

Here’s the thing: You’re already manifesting every day. What you focus on – whether positive or negative – shapes your experiences. Ever woken up grumpy and then everything seemed to go wrong that day? That’s no coincidence.

Manifestation is simply being intentional about what you’re focusing on. The goal is to attract the good stuff – more love, success, joy, or even that trip to Bali you’ve been dreaming about.

Manifestation in 3 Simple Steps

1. Get Clear on What You Want
The first step is knowing what you actually want. It sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many people struggle with this. “I want to be happy” is lovely, but what does that look like for you?

Here’s a little exercise:

  • Write down 3 things you want to manifest. Be specific!
    • Example: Instead of “I want more money,” try “I want to earn £3,000 a month doing work I love.”

Think about how these things will make you feel. Connecting with the emotions behind your desires makes them so much more powerful.

2. Write It as If It’s Already Happened
This is where the magic happens – journaling! Start writing as if your desires are already yours. This technique trains your brain to believe that your goals are not only possible but inevitable.

Here’s how to do it:

  • Open your journal and start with: “I’m so grateful now that…”
    • Example: “I’m so grateful now that I have the perfect job that pays me £3,000 a month, where I feel fulfilled, inspired, and supported every day.”

Write it in the present tense, feel the excitement, and don’t hold back. Treat it like telling a friend some incredible news.

3. Take Small, Aligned Actions

Manifestation isn’t just about thinking positive thoughts – you also need to take small steps towards your goals. But here’s the good news: when you focus on what you want and believe it’s yours, you’ll naturally start spotting opportunities.

For example:

  • If you’re manifesting a new job, maybe you’ll notice a posting on LinkedIn you’d usually ignore.
  • If you’re manifesting better relationships, you might feel nudged to send a message to reconnect with an old friend.

Trust those nudges – they’re part of the process. Manifestation is a mix of mindset and movement.

Manifestation Tips

If you’re just getting started, here are a few simple tips to make manifestation a habit:

  • Keep It Consistent: Spend 5-10 minutes each morning writing or visualising your goals.
  • Use Affirmations: Repeat phrases that align with your desires, like “I am worthy of success,” or “Everything I want is coming to me.”
  • Trust the Process: Don’t stress over when things will happen. Focus on feeling good now, and let the rest unfold.
